According to the ministry’s press service, the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Slovenia on mutual exemption from short-term visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports entered into force on May 1, 2026.

A similar agreement signed with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman will come into force on May 28 this year.

The documents provide visa-free entry, exit, transit, and temporary stay in the territories of the parties’ states for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for citizens holding diplomatic passports of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Slovenia, as well as diplomatic and service passports of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Sultanate of Oman.
