«The Commonwealth’s economic agenda is demonstrating steady positive dynamics. Mutual trade, industrial cooperation, and investment ties are growing. Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with CIS countries exceeded $7 billion in 2025 and increased by more than 9 percent by 2024,» he said.
In the context of developing cooperation, the Cabinet Chairman expressed the importance of focusing joint efforts on implementing projects to improve mutual trade conditions, reduce administrative barriers, and enhance the predictability of the business environment, develop industrial cooperation and value chains, as well as strengthen transport corridors and digitalize foreign trade operations.
In his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the Kyrgyz side supports the adoption of the Concept for Connecting Main Transport Arteries Passing through the Territories of the CIS Member States.
The Cabinet Chairman emphasized that Kyrgyzstan will host significant international events this year—the 40th Issyk-Kul International Forum and the World Nomad Games—and invited representatives of CIS member states to actively participate in the events.
A document signing ceremony took place following the latest meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.
