According to the presidential press service, the State Mortgage Company (SMC) has allocated a specialized social guest housing facility where graduates of boarding schools can live during their studies at universities or while transitioning into employment. The apartments are divided into two separate blocks for boys and girls.

It is reported that 25 graduates of boarding institutions aged from 16 to 18 are currently living in the facility (10 boys and 15 girls). All of them are graduates of boarding schools and vocational lyceums from Bishkek, as well as Chui, Issyk-Kul, and Osh regions. Similar social housing has also been organized in Osh region.

President Japarov inspected the living conditions, reviewed the facilities, and spoke with the young residents, asking about their educational plans and professional aspirations.

He noted that the young citizens will be able to live in the social housing for several years and will later receive the right to priority inclusion in the State Mortgage Company housing program lists.

Earlier this year, the Cabinet of Ministers announced that it was developing a social housing program for orphans and other vulnerable categories of citizens.
