According to him, following the implementation of administrative-territorial reform in the capital, the number of municipal cemeteries has increased by 21.

However, there are still unspecified territories; the Municipal Property Department is currently reviewing the documentation process. This will bring the total number of cemeteries in Bishkek to 36.

Currently, six sites are closed to new burials.

At the meeting, it was noted that 32.4 million soms have been allocated to the Bishkek Funeral Services Agency for 2026, including 4.2 million for the burial of the people having no relatives. A significant part of the funds is allocated for employee salaries.

In 2025, approximately 28 million soms were received for burial services.
