Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 24th, becoming the regional leader thanks to its strong child protection standards and well-developed education system. Turkmenistan placed 75th, while Tajikistan ranked 92nd. Uzbekistan lags behind at 97th place.

For comparison, Luxembourg topped the ranking with a score of 0.871. Other countries in the top ten include Iceland, Monaco, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Belgium, Slovenia, Austria, and Thailand. Russia ranked 151st. The United States is not included in the index, as it has not ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
