The parties discussed bilateral and interregional cooperation.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that interparliamentary dialogue plays an important role in developing a long-term partnership, and the activities of the Bundestag Friendship Group contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries.

He noted that Germany remains one of Kyrgyzstan’s key partners in the European Union. The two countries maintain a trusting political dialogue and are interested in ensuring stability and sustainable development in the region.

The head of the Cabinet noted the growing interest of German businesses in Kyrgyzstan. According to him, successful joint projects are already being implemented in the agro-industrial complex, manufacturing, and industry. The parties paid special attention to developing educational, scientific, and humanitarian cooperation.

In turn, the head of the German delegation congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and said he was impressed by the country’s pace of development. He noted that during his current visit, he saw significant changes compared to his previous trip to the Kyrgyz Republic in 2023.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue active cooperation and strengthen interparliamentary ties between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
