In a social media post, the ambassador said he had already contacted the students and intends to assess the situation on the ground and help resolve the issues they are facing.

The organizing company, Samara Academy, partially rejected the claims, stating that the students continue to work and that efforts are underway to find new employment opportunities for program participants.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that additional information on the situation will be provided as it becomes available.
