The announcement was made by Shailoobek Atazov, president of the Kyrgyzstan’s Professional Boxing League, following a meeting with Osh Mayor Zhanarbek Akayev, where the two sides discussed preparations for the upcoming tournament. The Osh City Hall also confirmed the meeting and the planned event.

The tournament will be organized by the international organization TURKSOY and the Kyrgyzstan’s Professional Boxing League, with the support of the Osh City Hall.

According to Shailoobek Atazov, for the first time in the history of professional boxing in Kyrgyzstan, fights for the WBC Greater Turan and WBA Asia belts will be held as part of the same tournament. International-level judges will officiate the bouts, while prominent representatives of global boxing organizations and legendary champions will attend the event as guests of honor.

Preparations for the tournament are currently underway in Osh. The event is expected not only to offer spectators exciting bouts but also to create new opportunities for Kyrgyz boxers, contribute to the development of professional boxing, and strengthen the sporting reputation of Osh and Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.
