There are currently 10 such outlets operating in Bishkek. They sell locally produced meat products, including bone-in meat priced at 680 soms per kilogram.

The meeting participants addressed the situation on the domestic meat market, the balance between supply and demand, factors affecting production costs and retail prices, as well as production and sales volumes.

The Antimonopoly Regulation Service expects the expansion of the food truck network to make meat more affordable for consumers while increasing sales opportunities for domestic producers.

The sides also agreed to strengthen information sharing and regularly monitor the market situation.

The Antimonopoly Regulation Service, together with the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, will continue monitoring meat prices and working with producers to respond promptly to changes that could affect the cost and availability of meat.
