The event will bring together more than 70 bands from across the globe. Musicians will perform at venues throughout the city, including the legendary The Cavern Club at 10 Mathew Street. The Beatles performed there 292 times between 1961 and 1963.
Inspired by The Beatles’ music, The Rolls was founded in Bishkek in 2010. Over the years, the band has developed into a distinctive Central Asian musical project specializing in British and American music from the 1960s and 1970s.
The Rolls became the first band from Kyrgyzstan to participate in the Beatleweek Festival in Liverpool, making its debut two years ago. Kyrgyz Beatles fans had waited 12 years for the event before the organizing committee accepted the band’s application and included it in the official lineup.
Returning to Liverpool’s concert venues after its 2024 debut, the band has refreshed its program and will perform with a younger, revamped lineup. Alongside its strongest and most popular numbers, the setlist will feature numerous new songs.
According to Elena Bayalinova, a member of The Beatles fan club in Bishkek, the band’s performance could be complicated by its incomplete lineup. One of the four registered members, vocalist and lead guitarist Salim Rafibekov, was denied visa support. Under these circumstances, performing the scheduled seven concerts will be significantly more difficult.
