Almaz Saliev, head of the agency, inspected the optimization of processes and infrastructure at the checkpoint. Following the working visit, he instructed officials to accelerate the completion of the remaining infrastructure works and maximize the checkpoint’s throughput capacity.

Attention has also been paid to the operation of the inspection and screening complex. The customs post’s specialists and management have been tasked with a number of tasks, including:

staff training, including organizing training and professional development for employees;

ensuring safety and strict compliance with radiation safety regulations and standards during inspection procedures;

completing the integration of the inspection and screening complex database with the Customs Service’s information system to expedite the accounting and processing of cargo.
