According to the document, the decision was made to improve the bank’s efficiency.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to transfer the functions of exercising the state’s rights as a shareholder of Kylym Bank to the Presidential Affairs Department.

The Presidential Affairs Department, together with the Ministry of Finance, should carry out all necessary organizational measures related to the transfer of powers.

Furthermore, the Presidential Affairs Department has been instructed to take measures to transfer state property to Kylym Bank in accordance with the established procedure.

The decree will come into force in 10 days.

Kylym Bank, with a 100 percent state share, was established in January 2025. The resolution was signed by Cabinet Chairman Adylbek Kasymaliev.

The purpose of its establishment is to develop the banking sector and financial system of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The bank’s authorized capital is 1 billion soms, with a par value of 1,000 soms per share. By 2027, the new bank’s authorized capital is expected to increase to 5 billion soms.
