According to the Ministry of Health, the new deputy minister was introduced to the staff of the ministry’s central office.

Since 2024, Nurbek Bukuev has headed the National Center of Oncology and Hematology in Bishkek. He is a surgeon, oncologist — gynaecologist, and a doctor of medical sciences with 21 years of clinical, managerial, and scientific-pedagogical experience.

Bukuev is an associate professor in the Department of Oncology and Radiation Therapy at the Boris Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the author of over 20 scientific publications. He holds the title of «Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic.»

On August 17, Bakytbek Kadyraliev was dismissed from his post as Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan. The cardiac surgeon held the post for about eight months, from December 2025.
