- Средняя номинальная зарплата в КР в первом полугодии 2026 года составила 53 759 сомов, рост на 27,5% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом 2025 года.
- Реальная зарплата с учетом инфляции выросла на 15,3%.
- Самые высокие зарплаты в Бишкеке (66 091 сом) и Иссык-Кульской области (58 969 сом), самые низкие - в Ошской области (35 983 сома).
- Зарплаты в частном секторе в 1,5 раза выше, чем в бюджетном (66 421 против 44 247 сомов).
- Наибольшие зарплаты в финансовом секторе (100 038 сомов) и горнодобывающей отрасли (91 650 сомов).
The real wage, adjusted for the consumer price index, increased by 15.3 percent. At the official exchange rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the average wage is equivalent to $614.8.
Differences across sectors and regions
The highest average wages were recorded in Bishkek at 66,091 soms, up 23.7 percent, and in Issyk-Kul region at 58,969 soms, up 27.1 percent.
The lowest figure was recorded in Osh region, where the average wage reached 35,983 soms despite a 36.3 percent increase.
In January—June 2026, wages in the private sector were 1.5 times higher than those in the budget sector:
Private sector: 66,421 soms, up 19.2 percent;
Public sector: 44,247 soms, up 36.0 percent.
The highest wages in the private sector were recorded in Talas region at 101,707 soms and Issyk-Kul region at 95,003 soms. Both regions are home to major gold-mining companies.
In the public sector, Bishkek led with 58,219 soms, followed by Naryn region at 46,557 soms.
The highest average wages were recorded in financial intermediation and insurance at 100,038 soms, up 25.4 percent, and mining at 91,650 soms, up 13.6 percent.
The largest increases in nominal wages were recorded in the following sectors:
arts, entertainment and recreation — up 49.2 percent to 37,155 soms;
healthcare and social services — up 43.7 percent to 39,385 soms;
education — up 42 percent to 38,458 soms;
agriculture, forestry and fishing — up 36.1 percent to 38,362 soms.
Total wage arrears across Kyrgyzstan stood at 84.5 million soms as of July 1, 2026, down 2.5 percent from the same period last year.
The largest share of the debt was owed by enterprises in Chui region — 52.7 percent, or 44.6 million soms — and Jalal-Abad region — 33.3 percent, or 28.2 million soms.
