Following the draw, Kyrgyzstan was placed in Group A alongside South Korea, the Philippines, and Lebanon.

The qualification matches will take place from August 31 to September 6 in Bishkek, meaning the Kyrgyzstan’s team will play its qualifying matches on home soil.

A total of 44 national teams will participate in the qualifiers, divided into 11 groups. Bahrain, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Qatar, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam will host the qualifying matches.

The strongest opponent for Kyrgyzstan is expected to be South Korea, traditionally considered one of the favorites in Asian youth football.

The best teams from the qualification tournament will secure places in the final stage of the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup.
