Representatives from Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan discussed the current status and key areas of scientific and technical cooperation, as well as prospects for joint projects. Bishkek’s initiative to create a unified SCO space in the field of green technologies was supported.

Preliminary results of the pilot competitive selection of SCO multilateral research projects, in which over 450 applications were reviewed, were also summarized. An agreement was reached to hold another selection on priority research topics.
