In his speech, he noted that Kyrgyzstan — China relations continue to develop dynamically in the format of a comprehensive strategic partnership. He stated that at year-end 2025, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China reached a record $27 billion.

Torobaev briefed forum participants on the ongoing reforms in the country aimed at developing industry, modernizing infrastructure, strengthening energy security, and improving the investment climate.

Particular attention was paid to the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030. Summit participants were presented with promising projects in transportation, energy, education, and healthcare. Plans to build the China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway, develop renewable energy facilities, and create new production capacities were of particular interest.

Concluding his speech, Bakyt Torobaev called on transnational corporations to invest more actively in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the state’s readiness to create favorable conditions for business and support the implementation of major projects.

The event also included an exchange of views on the further development of Kyrgyzstan — China cooperation and upcoming events under Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
