Bishkek to receive €64 million from EBRD for heating system modernization

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will finance a €64 million project to modernize Bishkek’s centralized heating systems. This is its first project in this sector in Kyrgyzstan. The funds will be allocated to the municipal enterprises Bishkekteploset (BTS) and Bishkekteploenergo (BTE), the bank’s press service reported.
